I'm currently in the midst of starting an online store using Ubercart 3 and Drupal 7. I was extremely disappointed to later find out that importing products into Ubercart is not supported out of the box, and have started to look for modules that could help me with this. I have 900 over different products, and to add each of them manually one by one into Drupal will be extremely tedious.
I've looked around and found that the Feeds module seems suitable to what I'm looking for. I currently need help to port the following module to Drupal 7: http://drupal.org/project/uc_feeds, which is a mapper for the Feeds module.
I volunteer for a non profit that serves low income and the homeless near Seattle. I put together their website using (please don't laugh, I'm not a dev) Go Daddy, and it's hopelessly outdated and in need of a major redo. The non profit has a lot going on in a number of different areas of service, and my goal is to have a cms where I can have a volunteer team that can add updates to their own sections and have those updates pulled into the home page.
I know just enough to have decided that Drupal would be a perfect solution if it's hosted on Drupal Gardens so I don't have to worry about the back end. I have an idea of how it works but I work full time and can't devote as much time as needed to figure out how to get it to look and layout and connect properly, and have fumbled around enough to know that I need some help!
I have plenty of design ideas and would be responsible for providing the content. The current website has over 30 pages, I'm not sure if there's a clever way to cut down on that with the right design. I'm sure with some coaching I could manage to pull some of those together myself. From what I've seen you'd probably have to start with the Garden's blank template.
They are an RC model powerboat association (not a club). Clubs are affiliated to them.
They are seeking to have a new site built, and I have suggested D7 (having been a D5 user myself). But I have come unstuck in that my knowledge of Drupal is extremely limited, so I am looking to farm this out.

This is a drupal architecture project based on amazon aws. I’m looking for an experienced
drupal software engineer that will give the proper platform for my SaaS based on Drupal. Based
on the requirements below I need someone that will setup my instance with the proper modules
and base architecture that I can then build from. I already have a platform on drupal published
and online.
Requirements
entities:
1. Users - (email address, phone number, username, passwords, role(distribution company,
individual, staffing company), authorizations(this is related to subscriptions but in addition each
user can get access to a subset of information for a company or the entire company information)
- this is already built in to drupal
2. Companies - includes groups of users. An admin of each company authorizes user account
requests that wish to gain access to that company and ALL of their “shows” and some of the
company setup details- these would be considered to be full time employees of the company
normally.. In addition, individual users could be granted access to specific aspects (shows as
defined in #4 below)
3. subscriptions - companies are subscribed to one of 3 (currently 3) different subscriptions
with various features and access to different queries and pages.
I need some help building a website. I have most of the work done on the layout and structure. Mostly what I need is a few small CSS adjustments and a general look-over of the site to make sure all my settings and functions are working properly. I also need help building a site map, a database backup performed, and a minor site upgrade to a newer version of Drupal, from 7.7 to 7.8.
I am looking for a developer to develop a site using Drupal. The site will allow members to create and maintain profiles and users to search these profiles. I need an estimate for the complete project, more details specs are available. Please contact me for more details.
