Getting to Drupal From the Inside

Hey Guys,
My network is setup up to Global PAT from the inside to the oustide. I have currently Installed drupal on my mandrake box and everything is working great, however, I am running into a slight problem that I could use some help with. I would like to allow access to my drupal site to some users outside my internal network so I have installed drupal at:

/var/www/html/drupal

and I have edited the needed settings file base url to look like:

(note this is from /var/www/html/drupal/sites/default/settings.php)

Bounty: Drupal 3 column theme

I am offering a bounty on the completion of Drupal 3 column theme using theme engine "Phptemplate 4.7" like it is on this site http://www.blogherald.com/ . I would like a clear line showing that separates the columns/sections like it is on http://www.joystiq.com/, http://www.engadget.com/. Basically 3 column theme as close to these sites as possible.

Looking for Part Time Drupal Friendly CTO

Having sold my old business in June, I am in the process of starting a new one up. I am looking to set up a dedicated server on which to put some Drupal (and a few simpler non-Drupal) sites.

I am not a techie, and need someone to back me up at the LAMP level. I'm looking for someone to be up the curve on everything at the system level, including firewalls, etc.. I would also want someone who can keep me at an appropriately updated level of Drupal, and add modules as necessary. Rather than pay a hosting provider a surcharge for high level technical support, and then still getting someone who does not talk Drupal, I would rather host with a more basic and affordable colocation type package, and pay someone on a regular, ongoing basis to be, in effect, a part time CTO.

Starting out, obviously enough, the demands are pretty limited. If, as planned, the sites grow to where I need more servers for load balancing, serving databases, and so on, I need someone with the chops to handle that kind of installation within a Drupal environment.

I would not expect you to be a graphic designer able to do templates, but I would want you to be able to have the basic template engines up and available on the server.

I'm figuring time will average 10 to 20 hours a month. I would want to pay a set monthly fee, rolling over unused hours to later months, and paying by the hour for extra time.

Looking for Drupal theme designers

I wanted to know if anyone could help me customize the 2 column ported Kubrick theme for Drupal into a 3 column theme like it is on this site http://www.blogherald.com/ (Using WordPress). I would like a clear line showing that separates the columns/sections like it is on http://www.joystiq.com/, http://www.engadget.com/. Basically as close to these sites as possible. The logo will be on the left, and a 468x60 banner on the right. The one for Drupal is here, http://drupal.org/project/kubrick. I tried to modify it, but it didn't come out as good as I thought it would.

The upper corners don't have to be rounded like they are currently, the could be like:
http://www.joystiq.com/, http://www.engadget.com/, http://www.tuaw.com/, http://www.bloggator.com/, http://www.liewcf.com/. Any design closes to the first 4-5 sites would be great. Arial fonts used throughout the css file.

I really like the layout, color scheme of this site http://www.revenews.com/. Can you reproduce this to work with Drupal?

How much would it cost to make a copy (as close as possible, not 100%) of the themes being used on these two sites? AV Club site (http://avclub.com/content/home), & the new Onion site (http://www.theonion.com/content/)? I have a few sites that I am working on, and I would like to use some new themes on them, I will order some new ones depending on the price.

Earlier when I was planning on using Wordpress and making the the website a blog only site, I was quoted $4-500+ for some basic themes, and at one point I asked for a small modification, changing layout, some graphics etc for a Wordpress theme, and the guy wanted $300 for it. The ones I have listed here are far more complex than what I requested before. $300 to modify the Kubrick theme is not justified. I am willing to spend money just as long as I know what I am getting.
