have a client who wants a site with features that drupal seems capable of providing. unfortunately, after a quick look at drupal, i realized that it would be prudent to contract with a drupal pro to configure the site.

We are looking for a Drupal developer to operate as an independent contractor, building Drupal-based sites for our clients. We currently have an operational prototype Drupal 4.7 site that we would like to enhance and improve.

Some initial tasks that would be required:

- Modifying the default search behaviour to selectively search all node types, yet return only specific node types in the results

- Developing a custom workflow / publishing behaviour that allows multiple related nodes to be published in a batch operation based on node type and taxonomy (independent of existing UI)

- Set up of a remotely hosted CVS repository for all of our Drupal sites

- Enhancements to the flexinode module to allow for proper validation of image fields, and some other validation requirements

- Ideally, you would develop using Eclipse

- Many other tweaks, hacks, new module development, and more

I'm also looking for people who can consult remotely, especially developers involved in the Drupal HEAD who would be willing to help me get up to speed on the finer points of Drupal security, load balanceing and ecommerce. The project is large scale and will be targeted for tens of thousands of users with plenty of media uploading and sharing, with a format similar to Opus.

Og2list is an add-on module for Organic Goups. It will provide full blown mailinglist support for groups created within a Drupal website. You can see a demonstration of early og2list functionality in this screencast. We hope to add og2list support to groups.drupal.org when development work is complete.

Implemented features that need to be tested and debugged:

• Subscriber management through Organic Groups
• Email sending and recieving to subscribers synced with Drupal. Content posted to groups is sent out to subscribers, replies sent to lists are posted as threaded comments and new threads can be initiated via email.
• Mailinglist import script.

Features in active development:

• Administration of mailing lists through email commands.
• Sending of file upload links for file attachments on Drupal nodes.
• User selectable list options, including to not recieve email and to choose the mail format (text or HTML).
• Ability to disable mail sending and receiving for a group, with old mails sent after a group is re-enabled.
• PostFix support in addition to EXIM.
• Robust re-threading of out-of-time messages.

Hi,

I work for a small political party in Canada where I have setup a new drupal website. We would like to have a completely new custom theme and layout but no one feels comfortable using phptemplate. This would be a relatively quick job as we only really need the main page designed.

We have hard copy sketches with detailed measurements of what we want the page to look like. You would not be responsible for any graphic design.

We might also need some help refining some modules such as news aggregator, gallery, and views.
