Internal error 500

Hi

I am working on a very small website that has a few pages. The website goes down very often.

Web host - go daddy. When I checked with them they say it is possibly to do with the rewrite rule in the htacess file:

This is the file in the root directory:
---------------------------------------------
AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php
AddHandler x-httpd-php .php4

RewriteEngine on
#Added to keep from getting 500 errors at godaddy/ Clean URLs enabled
RewriteBase /

MySQL database connection error: "Too many connections"

Our site is down due to a MySQL database connection error that says we have too many connections.

We've read the forums and we've tried a few possible unsuccessful suggestions, such as increasing the number of available connections, disabling persistent connections through our php.ini file, and drupal caching (which was on). Nothing is working.

Our environment specs are as follows:
Apache 2.x
MySQL 5.x
PHP 5.x
Drupal 5.1

Does anyone have any helpful information or a possible solution?

Thank You.

Usage of Foreign keys in MySQL?

Hi there,

how about the usage of Foreign keys in MySQL?
Today I tried to delete a very large Vocabulary (contained about 20.000 entries), but although I got a 'Succeed' message, about half of the records where still in the database. So I deleted them by hand (delete from term_data where vid = x) but then it came to mind that I forgot the term_synonyms, term_node and the term_hierarchy... Grrrr..

please reply .. very urgent. .. regarding Selecting already existing image

hi ...

I know 'image_assist' module helps us to select already existing image.. but i am getting a select list from which i can assign only one image for a particular contenttype(ex:article)..
I want to assign more than one image for an article.. how can i achieve it..
Is there any configuration steps for it?

kindly reply..

4.7.x behind reverse proxy

I am using an old 4.7.x installation behind a reverse proxy. The capacity of the connection between drupal and proxy ist the bottleneck of my current setup. The reverse proxy (apache 2.2 based) is located on a minimal vroot server, which is too small to run drupal itself (upgrading ist too expensive for me). The drupal site does neither use search engine friendly pages nor caching.
