I have created a simple module which offers some simple helper functions unique to my website. One such function I am working on exports data to another website via URL parameters. This works great for about 95% of my users. However, there's a handful of users who get an "Access Denied" page when accessing this function.

I am using some Jquery for image effects.
I want to preload the images. I am aware how I can do that in Jquery. but I want to pass the images in with paths using php.

What is the best way to do this?

I've run into this problem on a couple sites I've tried setting up. I get a localhost going and run it all just fine and setup fine with Firefox (currently 2.0) but then I switch over to test it in a version of IE and something goes wrong. I just tested with wifes Avant and same kind of problem.

To prevent someone from bad behavior, I'd like to install a module that limits posts per hour. I can't find any.

The ones I find such as nodelimit, or nodefamily, have a lifetime limit.

Comments appreciated.

how many lines of code would it take a custom module to do this?

I am new to Drupal development. I’m basically a convert to opensource from paying high $$$ for modules that don’t work well and I can’t customize. I’ve read many posts and opinions about what host provider is best for Drupal, but some of the hosts seem to be debunked or departed. What is your current opinion on this topic?
