update.php

whats the expected result then running update.php ? if i press update its like its just refresh the page, i dont get any "update complete" or something. should it be like this?

under the dropdown with updates states
"This defaults to the first available update since the last update you performed."

and its always the first update since 4.6 selected as default to me, therefor it doesnt feel like it updates. does it?

Charity Help Needed (Theme)

Hi there,

We are in need of design help for our charity website. So far I have only used the default theme. Can any guru theme designers help us get the site more professional looking? Thanks so much.

SoundDomain-esque

Is Drupal an app that could achieve something like SoundDomain.com rides?

I want users to be able to set their vehicle type, add personalized content (including pics of their rides), add basic car facts, and then have kind of like their own personal blog about their car(s). Even as I write this I'm getting the feeling that this would be a custom project!

Anybody seen a comparable setup on Drupal platform?

Thanks for your help!

Possible job offer: how much to document the Drupal database schema?

I use Drupal for misc consulting consulting jobs and I've always been frustrated by the lack of database documentation.

Depending on how much money this would cost, I might be interested in paying someone to document the core tables in the Drupal database. If this were done, where should the db documentation go? As comments into in the database.mysql file? Or as a new subheading under the Handbook chapter Developing for Drupal?

Bizarre URL issue

I am working on my site and I've discovered a very interesting issue that I'm not quite sure how to resolve. I have a number of categories that are accessible from the front page, and each category page has a number of subpages that are accessible from another nav bar. I can go to the first sub page without a problem, but when I click on another link, it repeats the category.

Example:

mysite.com => mysite.com/arts => mysite.com/arts/drama => mysite.com/arts/arts/dance => mysite.com/arts/arts/arts/singing etc.
