Comments for each user's blog?

In building multiuser blog site, I want to provide an optional block which shows comments of that user's blog and that block is shown only in that user's blog pages. (user can choose whether he/she wants the block be displayed in his/her blog or not also)

And I want to provide a user-defined block which is shown only in that user's blog too.

I think this kind of functionality is essential for multiuser blog. Is this possible? I found a module where each user can choose their own theme only in his/her blog but did not find module with the above features.

Consultant(s) Needed for THEME DESIGN and style/display changes on 4.6/4.7 drupal install

Hello, VIZ Media is looking for a combination of skills to assist us in launching three distinct Drupal-based sites:

1) Information Technology blog/news site -> Mostly just need help creating a beautiful theme to impress those lining our (and your) pockets - we're too busy supporting our users and projects to take time off for good design;

2) Front facing VIZ blog/news site, as well as contest/registration manager -> USing existing modules and/or creating new ones, we need a site that will handle all the end-user interactivity for viz.com -> We have a lot of static-ish html, and flash-based sites, but where we need to ask for information, enter people in contests, take surveys, and provide forums, we'd like to use Drupal. We see some* need to work on existing survey/poll modules to match up with our various types of contests, but it's probably not a ton of work. Again, needs to be beautiful and* well documented, theme-wise... We have our own in-house web staff, but they are very hand-crafty types who are swamped in (mostly flash-based) work right now... So, we need a good looking and maintainable (but hands-off) infrastructure to show to them so they don't argue endlessly to just do everything by hand forever.

3) Magazine site for one of our publications. For this, we have all the pieces, but again, we need help with display issues (changing how (and if) titles are displayed, for example), and we need it to look very un-drupaly... Really true of all the above, but in this case we have existing magazine design formatting to use as a guide.

AJAX HOW TO for module developers

Hi everyone,

I would like to use AJAX (to submit form data and get response) for a simple module I am developing. From the disscussion that has been going on in the forums I have learnt about the functions (HTTPPost, HTTPGet etc) available in misc/drupal.js. But I have no idea as how to implement these functions. Can anybody point me to a 'HOW TO' or else provide me some examples on how to use this functions.

Perhaps a handbook page in the module developers guide could be dedicated for this purpose as I believe many are eager to try AJAX with Drupal.

problem about flexinode

Fixed 4.6 modules to work with 4.7

Hi I got a quick question, I'm running 4.7 now and I finally got all my 4.6 modules to work with it. Since I've taken the trouble to update some of these 4.6 modules, should I try contacting their authors with the updated files or just post them somewhere here? I'm sorry if I should be asking this someplace else.
