Drupal 4.7.x

Greetings,
I am using v 4.7 beta3 and added a new language using the locale.module (MySQL5 PHP5 IIS6 Windows 2003). After adding the new language and clicking on a different link I had the following error message:

Warning: Field 'translation' doesn't have a default value query: INSERT INTO locales_target (lid, locale) VALUES (2, 'en-US') in D:\Inetpub\wwwsol\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 108

In the locales_target table the defaults for lid, plid and plural are "0" and locale and translation have nothing, the fields are blank.

Looking around for a cms system to be used for a news site; primary priotity when it comes to the layout is that I'm able to list the headlines from each of the categories available. So I'm not interested of getting column that shows the latest posted articles in mixed order. Guess that a small lookse at http://www.os2world.com gives a easier view of what I mean.

As well, there is as well around 20.000 articles that needs to be imported; assume that this wouldn't be any problem, or?

Is Drupal for me?

any idea why it occurs? has anyone has autocomplete working or similar error or a fix to this?

hello, I'm trying to create a new module for drupal, but I can't find in the handbooks how drupal works.

My project isn't a simple new node type, I need the hability to insert diferents types of information, and, process it in a certain moment.

I can't understand how the functions in the module file are called, or what happens when, for example, the settings form of my module (created by the settings hook) is sent. Who cares about the information? This is applicable to any form... ok, I can create my form.... but... what happens when click the "submit" button?

Can I theme my taxonomy pages?
How can I obtain a themed taxonomy page if I want to choose:

1. How many items list there
2. How to display them

As said here http://drupal.org/node/31319, there is a way to display an archive by category.
The taxonomy (ex. Mac Articles) page maybe a solution (I think IS te solution) but I use it like a category_front_page.
The "repository" of nodes concerning the taxonomy term "Mac" I want is something more compact like a tabbed list of titles (or something more) like a wide archive of older stuff.
Is there a way to obtain an archive by category?
