Drupal 4.7.x

Ok, I'm starting to get used to Drupal and really figure it out. I've decided I'm not going to obsess over the
design and presentation any longer. I'm going to go back to focusing on our bread and butter which is Content
and re-energizing our community. And because of this I'm going to stick with 4.7. But I do have a question regarding the News Feed.

1) The newsfeed icon appears at the bottom of the each category node as a small icon, how do I move that
feed to the top of each category and make it bigger?

Is there a way to instantly update the users page after they have updated a new pic. My users complain that their picture "is not showing" up, because the cached copy is still being shown

Hi. If you create a module that uses some additional tables that you have created, is there any convention you should follow in the query strings, such as using curly braces, etc?

I have some questions regarding the licensing of Drupal . How does the licensing work in the following
situations

A) I write a website using Drupal where i want to charge customers for the service
B) I want to sell software written using Drupal to a client
C) I want to modify core Drupal code and/or extensions from what i downloaded

In the above cases do i need to give away the software i wrote for free (or) am i obligated to publish the
software i wrote also as open source on Drupal (or) do i need to pay at any stage ?

I've got the login/sessions bug. I just need to log in successfully right now, I'm not worrying about a permanent patch yet.

Manually deleting cookies is not working, though it has in the past for my colleague. here's what I'm doing:

0) I clear browser cache and cookies, close window.
1) reopen browser, navigate to site, attempt login, get blank screen
2) copy browser cookie SID
3) log into mysql, then

We are using the refine_by_taxo module on our site.

It works great, except that on some pages it only shows the first 3 taxonomy terms for the listed content and it seems to ignore the rest.

I have tried changing the settings for the block but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?
