How do we set a default value to a select.

Is there any way to link Drupal to Owl (the document management system)? I have a lot of pdf files that I would like to store in Owl and have them linked as part of content in Drupal. That way the user can bring up any document shown as a link in the content?

I am trying to add modules in my drupal site. First i am seeing Hand book How to add modules. Based on that i am creating moduple. Every thing is ok. But i am cliking that module nothing happens just displayed pagenotfound. How to solve this problem.
