CCK bug?

Cant add second field to content type. Using the latest Content Construction Kit

Created a new content type. The name of it appeared in the content types list as "content-".
Added a long text field.
After pushing "Save field settings" got:

  • warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in c:\program files\apache group\Apache\htdocs\modules\cck\content.module on line 787.

The name of the created field appeared as "field__" in the list. Type - "Long Text".

Need yor opinion on my question...

Hello everyone,
I am trainee in a French IT firm, and my job is to migrate the firm's Intranet on Drupal.
As my work has just started, I was wondering if it was better to start working on 4.6.5, and dealing with updgrade "problems" after, or to start directly with 4.7 beta 4, even if it is a beta, and to upgrade it to 4.7 RC1 when it is released, hoping it won't be released to late?
I ask this question for two reasons:

Search Error -> Access denied for user -> database.mysql.inc

This message appears when I start a Search Query:

User profile

I'm using 4.7 beta 4. I'm setting up custom profile fields and it seems that for almost every field type: multi-line textfield, checkbox, list selection, freeform list, date except for single-line textfield creates links when looking in /profile (list of users). I've got them all showing up in the user list, but no matter what I do the single-line textfield doesn't create a link to all.

CCK - How to use?

I have read a bit about the CCK and wanted to give it a try. I downloaded the last version from cvs only to find the README.txt doesn't match what is in the package. For example, there is no sql file to add the required DB tables, just files with the extention of .install. What are these and how do you use them?

PHP in Category Descriptions

Is there a way to insert PHP into category descriptions? I want to execute a little PHP snippet to insert something into a category description, but I find that Drupal treats the PHP code as plain text.

Thanks.
