Is it possible to setup different profiles for users within different roles.

i'd like the bloggers of my site to have one profile, and I'd like to registered users of the site to have a different profile.

Is this possible in 4.7?

I have gone through the install process, everything is fine, now I have to login and I get this message after clicking the "create new account" button:

warning: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in c:\programmi\easyphp1-8\www\drupal\modules\user.module on line 394.

How can I connect to a mailserver from my localhost? I have checked other threads on this topic, really tried hard to search a solution, but I failed miserably. :(

Here's my configuration:

For some reason my flexiMAX theming is adding line breaks right before I state which field to display. For example, within the flexinode teaser area I have:

Abstract:{3}
Company:{2}

But the actual output shows up like this:

Abstract:
{3}

Company:
{2}

Is there a way I can get these elements to line up without the breaks?

Can anybody suggest a good tool to manage translation files ? I mean generate PO files.

For example I have a module with already completed translation (generated PO file). I made several valuable changes in this module and lots of new strings were added as well as some of existing string were changed.

I need to regenerate PO file but of course it is desireable to leave unchanged strings translated and only add new ones.

Is it possible to extend taxonomy term edit/create form, like _nodeapi does? Is there any _termapi hook available? Or do I need to hardcode what I need?

On SpreadKDE we have lots of people editing a handbook using the book module. But the pages only ever indicate who they were originally created by and don't show who last updated them and when.

Other issues that make collaborative editing a pain:

- You can't make set only a revision, as opposed to the node, to 'moderate', which would allow us to review and work on a new revision of a page without exposing the mess to users.
