Is anyone else having problems reading VideoSift's RSS feed from http://videosift.com/rss2.php ? I get "Failed to parse RSS feed 'VideoSift': suspicious input data."

I've tried pasting the google adsense script into the "block body" (named adsense) and whenever I try to "Save Block" I get an error...

The other day I was trying to remove prefixes from the tables in a DB.

I exported with PHP-MyAdmin, edited with MetaPad & imported with PHPMyAdmin.

This procedure I have done several times, and the results arent identical:

sometimes I cant import, because some duplicate errors, otherwise I manage to import succesfully but I cant create new nodes (duplicate errors when submitting).

My conclusion is that something I do is wrong, because Ive exported and imported thousands of times without any issues. The only times is when I try to remove prefixes.

I haven't used Drupal before or any thing that requires a database. How does one go about developing a Drupal system? Is it best to set up LAMP on a home system install Drupal and develop a site locally and then upload the whole lot up to a server. Or is it better to develop it were it will live? What are the pros and cons of the two approaches?

I have drupal 4.5. I lost table "search_index". How I could recreate it. The table is not create after open URL http://site/cron.php.

So, my personal site is still running 4.4.6. Runs fine, but it really should update it.

I'm assuming the upgrade path is:

1. turn off all optional modules.

2. 4.4 to 4.5 (manually adding a few tables to the database, as directed). Run the update script.

3. 4.5 to 4.6. Run the Update script.

4. update each extra module I was using to the current version.

5. Hope for the best.

Sound right?
