Drupal 4.5.x or older

Hi Folks,

I am trying to setup a website where people are going to rate and write comments about certain products. Do you think Drupal is an ideal solution for me? If yes then can somebody point me in a direction to get started with it?

Also would you consider this idea to be a blog website or a regular website with postings?

I appreciate the help from you gurus!!

After two years of tweaking and tuning I recently declared www.evoluation.de, a website on educational evaluation, officially launched. The intended audience is academic, that's why I chose a relatively classic look based on the interlace theme. It demonstrates drupal's capabilites for designing a Web 1.0-style single-author website with a lot of static content and (at the moment) no community elements.

Is the system OK for Drupal 4.5? I have it working fine before on bluehost.com. But started early Sept, the page shows the following:

I want to build a website with a few categories of users :
- 1st category : artists which will display there work
- 2nd category : anonymous, or resistered users. These users will be able to tell what they think about the work of the users of first category
- 3rd category : some website administrator which will be able to do anything they want

I don't know of to define this category of users and how to assign users to one category.

I also want to make users of 1st category pay a fee for the usage of the website. How to do it (a module, ...) ?
