Drupal 4.5.x or older

Strange. Anyone have a clue as to why it doesn't work?

I can delete messages from everyone else...

My RSS feed stopped working about 10 days ago and I can't figure out the problem.

I went to a feed validator and got some crazy stuff about html code appearing after the rss ends:

I'm trying to upgrade Drupal 4.4.2 to 4.5.8, but am having weird problems. I'm running PHP 4.3.2 under Red Hat linux (RHEL 3.1).

Does anyone know whether 4.5.8 will work with that version of PHP?

I am helping a client build a store which features a merchandising section and a news section.

It seems obvious to me that all News related items should be treated like a story. However, the type of node that individual merchandise items go in becomes a little less obvious:

Should I post them as stories, since each newly introduced item is a timely item?

Or, should I post them as pages, since they could also be perceived as a non-timely item?
