Drupal 4.5.x or older

Hi,

At Free Software Magazine we use Drupal in a bit of an odd way. We assign the articles (therefore creating their nodes) and then get the authors to hand them in.
When we release them, we set the "creation date" as the publication date. We made quite a few patches so that articles dated in the future are basically invisible in the home page, RSS feed, searches, etc.

This is ugly. Too ugly.

I am nearly finished developing a Drupal 5.X version of my node_article module, and I am determined to use it without applying ANY patches to Drupal.

I am writing a custom newsletter module for Free Software Magazine.
Right now, the newsletter is sent using a custom Perl script. It does the job, and it even restarts sending email if the sender process dies. However, I have several good reasons why I would like to get the server to send the newsletters.
Now... we send out around 35000 newsletters out there. That's a lot! The script that sends them:

* Needs to keep running for 3-6 hours - no timeout!

* Needs to keep running even if the browser dies

Yesterday i v installed 2 drupal theams and enabled and configured one. after that nothing opening only one blank page is opening. can any body help me how can i retrive my home page.

I found you via google as you came out on top for servage help. I cant seem to find a servage advice forum here so am wondering if I'm in the right spot ?

I want to know about my website www.pawantravelsujjain.com this site was working before 1 of feb now its not working it gives an error user warning: Table 'pawantra_dprl2.blocks' doesn't exist query: SELECT * FROM blocks WHERE theme = 'fancy' AND status = 1 ORDER BY region, weight, module in /home/pawantra/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 120. where is the prob this data base is exist in the data base but its gives an error can u explain me what i can do for this error

is there a module to create a view with stored sql-query? Or is there another possibility to create database queries without creating my own module hardcoded with the query?
