Drupal 4.5.x or older

Ok Everything on site has been working great for 2yrs and yesterday all of a sudden anonymous users can't see stories or any content until they login as a member. I was deleting a few unscrupulous users just prior to this going bananas. Help how do I fix??

Within Drupal, I would like to create a page using an exisiting HTML sitting on my computer. Can some please help? Instead of copying and pasting the HTML code, I would like to upload the HTML file.

I am tyring to do this by clicking on "createContent -> page" and upload my html file using the "attachements" section. But when I upload my file drupal changes the extension from home.html to home.html.txt.

I have spent hours to resolve this, but no solution yet.

I have been using Drupal for years, but I cannot remember which version I am currently running. My site has been running fine and I upgraded once in the past, but would like to upgrade to at least 5.0. Is there a version somewhere that could tell me the exact version I am running?
