Module development and code questions

Hey,

I've updated the Fivestar module for v5 and can't seem to find the settings to disable vote clearing for a content type. Has anyone else's disappeared?

Dear Friends,

I've created a mass email module for Drupal 5.0 It is basically an edited copy of the core contact module, turning it around to send emails from the admin to any set of roles or to the entire subscription base.

It's really rough, but it works for me with limited testing. I'm posting it here in hope that

1) others might help me spot bugs,

2) others might fix up the code to make it more advanced

3) someone might take it on as a project and open a module page, because AFAICS, the other mass mailers are all but abandoned...

How to I link to a external website through the title field of a node? Sort of like how google does their search results

I really like the phpBB forum and would like to make all commenting/discussions happen on phpBB.
These are my thoughts: The site is a newspaper were my users can read different news and comment each article.
Would it be possible to "include" or use the phpBB-forum instead of Drupals commenting-core?

Hey there folks,

I've seen some discussions about the book.module, and it seems there are two camps.

Camp 1 thinks it is perfect and has no flaws (this is a over-simplification of their position).

Camp 2 thinks it is frustrating that users can add their book pages to ANY book ANY where regardless of permissions, etc...

I've worked out a module to allow users to view and modify the structure of their book using a GUI, but I'd like to be able to handle the permission issues.

Tried for several days to search for 5.0 modules on the module page (IE). However when I choose 5.x the search show 4.7 only - always. I can not see any 5.0 modules on the module page?? Same issue with firefox

Could any body inform me how to see the available modules. Thanks
