Module development and code questions

I have installed RSVP module on Drupal 4.7.6. It is working ok.
The problem is: as users are enabled to send an invitation email to a list of people, is there a risk of abuse? Users could abuse of this feature to send out a lot of spam.
Furthermore, as in the message properties (of the invitation email) you can read the sender server (my website server) and the name of the website hosting the event (my website) there is a real risk that people receiving such spam associates my website to this spamming practice.

I have a question about the integration of i18n and E-commerce.
suppose i have a product A to sell , which is in English, the number in stock is 10.
Then I make a japanese translation for product A, and I found i18n actually make a new node for this japanese product A, and the stock is also set as 10.

but after I place an order for the English product A and make it completed, the stock number of the English node is set as 9, but the japanese node still remains as 10 in the stock.

in drupal5.1 use quotes modules ,but i want to quotes blocks in drop down list .
when i select a block on drop down, his messeges are displaying.
pls suggest me which module i use or which change made in Quotes module .... for achive this...

Hello World....

After installing swftools-5.x-1.1 - I placed php code in a block as follows:

print swf('MS_TopScrollingText.swf', '701x115')

I am having two problems:

The flash file is showing up considerably smaller than it should be even when I specify a size as shown above. This problem I think is related to my next problem.

I need to modify the List of upcoming events block to show the actual date of the event and it's location (which is in an added field). How would I start on this? I'm having trouble just finding the right area.

This post is going to be a little backwards, hope that is acceptable. Usually people request help and those with the relevant knowledge answer. But in this case I have the knowledge and am looking for the people with the questions.

I've been looking at migrating our Webmaster Forums over to Drupal for better integration with our Articles site, unfortunately there's no pre-built solution to do this. Also tried doing a test migration from vBulletin to phpBB to Drupal, but the phpBB to Drupal converter locked-up (it was left overnight but still no success), looking at the code it seems the vBulletin -> phpBB converter drops all file attachments and avatars too, which is a shame. Then there's the problem of users not being able log in with their existing passwords after migration.

I have the knowledge to create a converter but can't afford to work on something like this for free. Although I can do it for a big discount (since am benefiting from it too). So, this is what I propose: some people interested in using this module chip-in some money whilst I co-ordinate and write the code.
