Module development and code questions

There is a question or idea.
I sometimes give passwords from my site and FTP to users under windows - and there they are very often stolen by troyan (well see on FTP logs - login from Brazil, China, France), there was a necessity in the module which would consider and compared MD5 sum of php files of site and "alert" would do in the case of change, it is possible to add functional to watch after some tables of base (so they can it was be defined in adjustings the module).
Or does can that the ready is?

Could someone, anyone, please talk me through how to add paging to a forum topic?

I am planning on having one forum topic that acts almost like a message board, but would like say the first 15 posts to show before the page is cut and the rest (if there are more than 15) being on page 2, 3, 4...n etc.

Can anyone help with this?

It would be very helpful to have code snippets as I'm new to all of this!

Hello all,
i have installed the drupal on my localhost successfully.

I have starting from registration process.
I have added (from admin ) the first name, last name, address, zip fields.
Now am able to visualize those fields in registration page.

What i want is to add the CAPTCHA to this registration page.
I have downloaded the captcha module from net, but am not able to attach captcha to my registration process.

Please help..

I have installed Drupal 5.2, php5.2,apache2.x, mysql5.x

Please help...
