Module development and code questions

Is it possible to install modules in sequential order.

For example I have created 5 modules and are listed in /admin/build/modules/ like

XYZ Package
[ ] Module X
[ ] Module A
[ ] Module Z
[ ] Module 8
[ ] Module K

so now if i select all modules and press "Save configuration" button, then is it possible that modules are installed in this order:

1. Module A (installed first)
2. Module B (...)
3. Module K (...)
4. Module Z (...)
5. Module 8 (installed last)

If its possible then how can we do that??

Location module.

I just switched from using CCK and taxonomies to using location, because of the many benefits of using the location module.

However, I cannot seem anyway to filter the nodes by a street, postal code, city, country or even telephone nr. from a block or directly on the page where nodes are showing in teaser form. There are several possible alternatives, but it does not seem to be supported. Perhaps I haven't found the right way:

We are a community television station that puts our videos online for all to see. We have about 100 videos currently online that we have created using the Video Module. In our studio we sell DVDs of these videos.

It is possible while watching the video that a user can click on a "Purchase" button and have the video title show up in the shopping cart with the correct price.

For me to go back and create store items for each one of my videos just wouldn't be practical.

Is the E-Commerce module capable of this or is there another module I should be looking at?

I have a website where I sell custom made books and cards. I'm trying to find a way where customers can come and customize a book or card and order it. Some options will change the price such as size or accessories but others will not like the color. I would like the user to be able to use radio buttions and drop downs to select the options, like those found in CCK, and then add the configured product to cart and check out with the correct price. I've seen the product variations of ecommerce but it doesn't allow the buttons and dropdowns and it doesn't seem quite right.

I'm not sure exactly which forum this inquiry is well suited for...

This is probably a stupid question, but I have been searching for the answer on my own and can't find anything.

A)
I know that it is possible to display blocks only on certain pages, but I would like to know how to associate a block with a specific type of node.

Two examples:

• I want to tuck my blog inside the primary links, and have categories associated with it display only on blog pages.
• I'd also like to include a music player in the sidebar on pages that display lyrics, a content type I have defined myself. Which reminds me, I actually have two and a half questions... Can I place a script for an mp3 player into a block that I create myself?

B)
I would also like to know if anyone knows of a module that displays random images that are embedded into posts (regardless of where the image file is actually stored,) that will call to the post the image came from when clicked.

said a different way: I want a module that scans all the stories, blog posts, etc, for image links, and then displays those images on the front page (with my own formatting) as links back to the content they came from...

(I'm new to Drupal, but I'm not afraid to tweak the templates here and there if that's what needs to be done.)

Please, could you advise me how to able to automatically promote any node type (not only story links) that have a specified
number of votes to the front page? With story links I have no problem, but how to use other node types with Vote up/down and voting_actions I have no ideas :(
