I have had an enquiry about converting a WordPress site to Drupal. It has over 6000 posts as well as numerous users and a volume of traffic that is not handled by WordPress at the moment.
I am a relative newbie to Drupal. I know that there is a conversion module avaulabls for small WordPress sites.
I've just freshly installed the latest version of Drupal to have a closer look at the capabilities of the system, and am quit keen to explore some more... one of my main issues would be keeping as much data as possible from my existing e107 website (800 users and about a hundred newsposts)
I've searched the forum and found comments about a script that would make it possible to import e107 users and forum discussions, but none of the links are still working)
I have just about finished moving my old static site into Drupal 5, apart from one thing. The old site contains a MHonarc mailing list archive, which is styled to match the static site. I'd like to carry on using MHonarc, but is there a neat way (apart from the obvious cut/paste) of getting it styled by the Drupal theme? The pages will continue to be updated externally, so a one-time import won't be enough.
