Need help migrating your site to Drupal?

Can't work out how to mimic this

This looks like a simple site, but I can't work out how to replicate the functionalilty.

I see:

1. Main menu at the top
2. Separate Secondary menu
3. Separate Tertiary menu

ok so far

but the main menu links can connect directly to the first page of a level three item as in the Exhibitions link

or a page with it's link in the secondary menu as in Research

or can just be a page in their own right - as in Contact

errors when trying to import wordpress to druple

Hi, trying to import a wordpress blog to druple using wordpress migration module, 2 problems, in the control panel where it says
"Import Source" when I check "Import from a file" no import form opens ( the same with "Import from a URL")
also
this error is showing as soon as I open the import page ( with green tick) :
"File upload failed: Module 'SQLite' already loaded. Please make sure the file you're trying to upload is not larger than 64 MB"

any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Joomla to Drupal 7 teaser problem

Hi Drupal forum members,

I have just import joomla content to drupal 7 as story by using Joomla module.

Everything is fine except the teaser. All import story has the teaser (sumary) == body value == entired joomla article. So I have many long teasers on page.

First I try to execute a script to clear body_sumary field of tables field_data_body and field_revision_body in database. But this is not lucky, the long teaser is still existed. I tried to clear all caches, this gave me no luck too.

Will drupal work for me

I have been looking at creating a ASP.net site with an SQL backed and came across drupal but not sure if I should spend time learning it if it wont do what I need

the main requirements are:

Football pitch booking site

member of public go onto site and find a pitch in there area by looking within x miles of a given post code

when booking, customer get option to select dates+time, changing rooms, ref and linesman, ball hires

If the customer selects the option to have a ref and the venue does not provide this then the search result would not include them

want main content on front page to be static, with blog in sidebar, but how?

I am a newcomer to Drupal, but not to websites and other CMS. I am faced with converting an existing site to Drupal. What is wanted is a front page that gives a content of static information introducing the site, with a set of latest blog posts in the column at the side. What I have at the moment is the static content at the side and the blog posts as the main content. This is all for those who have not logged in.
Can anyone give me advice on this please?
