I want to make the categories for the organic groups, just like the site:

http://groups.drupal.org/groups

the groups in different categories .

I have try to do below
› Administer › Content management > Categories > Add vocabulary

but it can't works.

can anyone help me?

I thought I would give a shout about a site I put up recently. It is a community site for those (me included - Type 1) diabetes. I know there is room for improvment but it is a start. If you or someone you care for has diabetes give us a look.

Somebody recently suggested i check drupal for a project I am working on.

The project is to create an open source communtiy of people working for world peace. I have a unique and interesting vision for doing this, and there is a potential for the project to take on global proportions.

The project has a specific core component that needs to be built, and the rest has a wide open capacity for expansion.

The model for how it will grow is like Drupal, or wikipedia.

Is there anyone interested in talking with me about this project?

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to automatically create thumbnail images automatically. Once these are created, can I then use them on a block through views and panels? Much like the 'What's hot today?' block on www.teamsugar.com.

I'm developing a social networking site (using version 4.7) and I'd like to enable users to be able to search based on geographic location AND content. Is this possible? It appears that the core search module only permits one to search for content OR location. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way to prevent group members having the same rights as group managers? Right now group members can change the title of the group, the description, or even delete the group entirely just like the manager. I installed og-5.x-2.2.
