Theme development

Hello everybody..
Zen is a great theme and comes by 3 columns gris as default and even when i read the documentation i don't know how to change the grid system to 2 columns 30%- 70% for ex..
Can you help me please.

I have 6 - 2 column preface regions specified in my Omega sub-theme and the regions are not adhering to the grid when the view changes to narrow. They work as needed in wide and narrow.

Two issues;
1.

I am totally at a loss after trying to figure this out for a long time. Perhaps someone with more experience has an easy answer.

If I insert a block in my custom region it appears, but below the region's div box. What's am I doing wrong?

I've had a problem yesterday on my site delengua.es

I updated the following modules: Token, Media, and Views. At first, nothing changed, but when i checked the site with Internet Explorer 11 i got a little problem in the View that you can find in the left side of my site: it is the little box which displays three messages: "You will never be bored!", "Online registration" and "Prices and dates 2014/2015".

I am using Superfish menu on Danland theme, Drupal 6. I have downloaded and installed Special Menu Items module because I do not want one of my menu items to point to a path. My "CONFERENCE" menu's path is set to "nolink" (without quotation marks). But it looks different compared to "HOME" and "ABOUT" menus. How can I make it look the same?
