Theme development

Hi there,

I have read al of the info up on the handbook about theme modification and modding the profile pages however i was wondering whether there was any way of having multiple images up on a user's profile page or possibly a link to their acidfree album (this is the image gallery i am using). I think the profile module part has a lot to still be developed. unfortunately i don't have much experience in php matters.

Hey, OK I've been looking around for a good theme to use for my site. Once I find one i'm going to completly customise the look. However, I've run into several problems. firstly, most of the good looking themes either work in IE OR Firefox - not both. Its irritating to say the least, but nevermind, I think I've found a pretty good trade off in Manji which I got off the downloads section.

OK, now for my question. I notice that the forums in Manji are too long for the single column and in IE will stretch the page until it goes underneath the navigation. In Firefox it does almost the same thing. So, is there a way to resize the forums so that they will fit? The only reason I ask is because i've been scanning through the .css files and .tpl.php files and can't seem to find a variable to adjust the forums. However, I notice that in themes like Reflection and Kubrick the forums resize to fit the column. In Reflection the forum panels squeeze and the text realigns so that everything looks right. this is the effect i'm looking for. In kubrick, the entire forums downsizes so that the text becomes miniscule and hard to read. The flatforum module doesn't really work and isn't exactly what i'm looking for.

So, is there a variable to change the size of the forums? Do I need to define a new variable? Do I need to manually theme the forums node? If so how do I do that?

btw, I'm not very good at HTML or CSS scripting, and so i'd sorely appreciate any help I can get in these areas should resizing the forums involve any of this.

Is there a node for adding meta stuff to node? Like keywords, etc? I would think there'd have to be ya? I can't find anything. Thanks!

Hello I'm converting an existing site into drupal and my tabs are all showing up as regular links.

I'm working from the bluemarine theme CSS file and I have been dragging elements from the page.tpl in blue marine to my current theme.

My tabs aren't working right at all either. I can't shrink down fields on the create content administrator pages. Everything sits on top of the pages and I'm not sure what all of the options in the CSS file are for.

Does drupal have a CSS file with really good comment explanations of each item?

I want to create a new theme. I can donwload some theme and edit it or i need to create one from the begining...?????

What program you recomend to create themes......????

Hello All,

I would like to change the appearance of all the fields displayed by Drupal: selects, radios buttons, texareas, etc in all the possible modules using the system layout, e.g. flexinode, webform, etc.

Specifically, I want the Description to be placed after the Title and before the actual Field. Can this be done via the themes engine, so I don't have to break any system modules?
