Theme development

Hey there,

I got a strange problem with the spreadfirefox and the democratica themes (possibly with other themes as well...) The thing is that on every category page for a taxonomy vocabulary term, normally the listing of the articles starts right away on the top of the page, but with those two themes, there is a huge empty space in the 'description' section at the top of the page.

The huge space is there even if I put nothing in the description field...

I have a new theme that only has two issues (that i am aware of) left to resolve - widths of log table and text fields

1. In the logs, if the text is long, the table stretches into and over my sidebar. Any tips on how to constrain this table - do i mod the watchdog module? Should i just update to 4.7 (is there an admin only interface built in, or is it just a rumor?)

I'm using a variant of Kubrick and can't figure out how to tighten up the space between node elements (headline and teaser or headline and node body). I've removed all the top margins and padding in CSS and still have what looks like a full line between node elements and I want them to butt together. Further, I want the links and metadata to snug up against either the teaser or the body as well.

I am using the Reflection theme, and modified it to look the way I like it. Now, the boxes where you input your username and password are links that link back to the main page. Where is the template file for the login box so I can fix it?

i am having some CSS trouble with a modded interlaced theme.

Is there any possibility to customise the block menus ? the custom ones on drupal 4.7 ?
