Theme development

Im creating a new website and I cant remember how to fix the problem of this theme thing. I get it where ever I go to change something on the website.

I already messed around with the menu.inc but it aint working yet. What i want to do is add a slide effect to the changing content div when someone clicks a menu link.

I want to show the name of the people who write the comment and add a webpage field and show this url in the comment, like a normal blog, in this way could be more easy to saw who write and let a comment not only for admin but for everyone.

How can i ouput the name (this field is already in comment form)? and how i can add a url field to form?

while using garland,
when i assign "user login" block to "header" or "footer" section it comes straight horizontally.

i need this one in Zen theme.
but in zen theme when i tried to set "user login" to "header" section it comes scary. i.e. first login textbox
then password fileld [ one line down] and finally submit , create new account,request... all one by one.
which spoils whole look.

i tried to figure out this problem. i think dilemma lies in css - "clear-block" or nearly around it.

but i can fix it.

Hi, i am a themer and i need to make a poll if you could help me here that would be awsome, this is it: how much average time did we need to create a theme given a picture with the design (not vector). I know it depends on the complexity, assume a not to hard but above the normal .....
