Theme development

Hello!

If you look here: http://www.tendografen.com/demo/drup/, you see that the top, left and right news are the same. I'm using the two-column setup from the Panels module, together with the Views module. Does anybody know how I can fix it so that the news doesn't print more than once?

I've been searching the forum all afternoon and can't find an answer to this.

Is there something similar to YOOSpotlight (http://demo.yootheme.com -- look down the page a little bit, on the left) for Drupal?

I am new to Drupal and currently playing with the page.tpl.php in which I rename from index.html file. I know I need to use phptemplate engine and create file node.tpl.php, comment.tpl.php, etc.

Is that in Drupal 6, I still need to theme using the same method. What is the advantage of Drupal 6 theming?

I am trying to port from ready made html and css template from templateworld.com.

Last week I ported few templates from version 5.x to 6.x by adding .info file, but non of them showing the block part.

any one have any idea.please help

just upgraded a site from 4.X to 5.3 and it was running the simplex theme and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, as the client prefers the simplex theme and sure if there was one that was close, they would be content!
