Since 1999 I've been running a Nintendo online community. It started off as PDark.com but later became Ninten.com ( www.ninten.com ). For a couple of years now its been running pretty much dormant on a vBulletin board.
Yesterday morning I decided to see how much I could get done in just one day. So I downloaded drupal 4.6.2, copied over a theme I had made for another site, made some changes to it, and then configured a few things here and there.
Hey all, just finished my...lessee...8th (I think) drupal site, and I think the theme is probably the best looking I've done yet. The site is fully functional now, although I haven't had a chance to post much on there yet. I'll do some more tonight but there probably won't be too much activity for a couple of weeks. Check it out, let me know what you think, and join in if you want. Address is as follows:
I'm very pleased to announce the launch of my first project using Drupal.
I'm impressed with the theming capabilities in the 4.6 version. I simply made the layout/css, the graphics, and then choose the right CMS; and for this project, Drupal was the right choice. Drupal let me use a lot of javascript without a problem.

In collaboration with ORISON Technologies (www.orison.biz), a team of electronic engineers has recently launched my8051.com
It's very early days yet, as I set it up ten minutes ago - so it's a very very basic installation of 4.6.2 - but I've just started using drupal as part of a campaign to find other local businesses who have had problems with a particular accountant, Rob Tindle, in the north-east of the UK (he has worked under the names Walker Tindle, Tindle Davies Tracey and simply as Tindle's ).
Ok, its standard default look, but I was very pleased in getting Drupal up and running in a day. The site has been up for two weeks now and its been very stable.
I am pleased to finally have the ability to get parameter-less URLs up and running. This alone makes Drupal so useful.
