Corporate site live - Dutch Real Estate Portal

Hi fellow Drupallers,

Met some of you guys 2 weeks ago here in Amsterdam, spoke about this site going live
with Bert and Robert Castelo.

Its up and running now, hopefully Drupal will get some good corporate exposure from
this over here in Holland.

Check out www.realnext.nl

Used CSS layouts from Positioniseverything.net (Best in my opinion) and menus from
HTMLdog Suckerfish dropdowns. Should work fine on IE and FF.

A London based escort site

Hi,

I've made this escort agency promotion site for my London based customer. The site is Princess of London Escort Agency (http://www.princessoflondon.com).

The contents are maintained by a regular user who don't know anything about HTML, CMS etc.

Have you got any impression, advise to improve it? Any question?

Bests,
Aries

A simple site

Hi everyone,

I would like to draw your attention just for a little while to a site I’ve been working on http://red-sulphur.org . Its not quite done yet but we decided to make it live anyways. The contents were formerly from a blogspot.com blog, which grew to quite a large amount. I kept the site small and minimal in an effort to keep things simple and uncomplicated as my php knowledge is only of the basics. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Rottnest Channel Swim

The site was developed to provide an online registration system of the Rottnest Channel Swim, the largest open water swimming event in the world with around 2500 competitors.

Due to the very tight time frame for development most of the fantastic Drupal community features are not yet enabled, but the site seems to be handling its primary task very well thanks to a fantastic effort by Gordon from Heydon Consulting.

Due to restrictions on numbers of competitors in the event Gordon developed a custom module that included a nomination system that allows potential competitors to register their interest in the event. Once all nominations are received, management of the event can then allocate the number entries that will be available to specific categories. The system then runs a random selection of nominations for each category and generates an email notifying users if their nomination has been successful. The email provides a link to the user’s already submitted information allowing them to complete their entry and pay their entry fee via the eCommerce Module.

With in 24 hours of the site going live it has over 1000 registered users and has recorded nominations exceeding the maximum number of entries for the event.

Please feel free to have a look around at www.rottnestchannelswim.net but please remember this is a live site so do not submit a nomination unless you a keen to come to Western Australia and go for a 19.2km swim due west toward Africa.
