Coffeepinions is out of the gate

After some considereation I've put together http://www.coffeepinions.com, I think there is enough base content your you to get the idea of what I trying to achieve.

portait.eu

This website is an art news aggregator site:
http://portait.eu/cms/

thanks for some info. ;)

www.mspfilms.com / www.skimovie.com

www.mspfilms.com or www.skimovie.com

This is our second drupal site and the first in 4.7.

Jer did the graphics and layout, Boots did the flash, JB did the theme and I worked out all the drupal functionality.

rfcconnector.com

http://rfcconnector.com

This is my first drupal site using 4.7.2 with a custom theme based on a commercial xhtml/css template bought from http://www.4templates.com/. I am in no way affiliated with this company, but I would recommend anyone looking for commercial templates to check out their offerings, since they are not too expensive and in my opinion easier to integrate than e.g. the sample template from templatemonster.com. I had not much prior experience with XHTML/CSS in general, and almost no experience with drupal, but I was able to apply most of the style in about half a day (and two more for tweaking stuff like navigation, admin menu and forum).

My general experience with the template and form system is that it is very powerful, and almost completely eliminates the need for making modifications to core and modules. I only had to patch comment.module to be able to style the forum (I needed an additional

around all the comments, but found no template where I could insert it).

HackJob.org | Computer HowTos, Tips and Tricks

Well, if seeing another computer howtos/tips/tricks site makes you queasy, don't check out this site:

http://www.hackjob.org/

Part 1 - What I did:

I would like to say I made this site in a few hours, not even an afternoon, w/ less than a pot of coffee, without hacking a single line of code, and I still don't know what a php function is. :0)

Drupal... what else is there? (PHP, why aren't you free?)

Here's the list of modules I have installed on a Drupal 4.7.2 site:

+ path and pathauto (praise be to those names)
+ tagadelic (makes me feel like it's 2006)
+ aggregator2-cvs (you're taking over my life and obsoleting my work :-)
+ aggregator2_autotaxonomy (icing on the cake)
+ zeitgeist (however you say it, it's my friend for life)
+ story (where would we be without our drupal story)
+ comment (enough said)
+ menu (cause you make my life easy)
+ ping (while it lasts?)
+ search (shinier than ever, slave to us all, we all love to search)
+ taxonomy (i wish i could understand all of you)
+ throttle (i hope i don't need you too soon)
+ trackback_blackhole (sure thing, boss)
+ tracker (faithful and pure)
+ urlfilter (without you, i would not go on)
+ spam (yes, the bsd --choke! cough! gag!-- crucial time/life-saver)
+ contented7 theme (dynamite!)

Are we ready to take over the..... uh.. yeah. So, how about those mods?

Part 2 - What I still want to do:
