Westbury Group Practice

Am just about to launch this site for one of my work places www.westburygp.co.uk/info (when launched at the end of the week the holding page will go and it'll just be www.westburygp.co.uk)

Fraternity Chapter Site (using Drupal 5.0)

I moved my fraternity chapter's website from joomla to drupal 4.7 a few months ago, and as of about 3 weeks ago it is running drupal 5.0. I have created around 8-10 custom modules, the largest being a custom forum module. I also completely re-coded the flickr module from scratch using phpFlickr and jquery for some nice effects. If there is enough interest, I am not opposed to cleaning up the forum or flickr modules and releasing them. Let me know what you think.

technohippy - photos and thoughts of daula pan

Am just about finished in the revamp of my site www.technohippy.org.uk

It runs on 4.7.x and has got Gallery2 embedded plus a few other modules, but nothing to spectacular as it didn't need it. Would value your comments either here or on the site :-D

UPGinsider.com

Hi all, a little background on www.UPGinsider.com:

At the end of August, I was told by campus administration that the budget for our campus newspaper was being cut in half. This forced some tough decisions ... we ended our print edition and migrated to the web. Rather than sign a contract with collegepublisher.com or similar hosting sites, I opted to go with Drupal. My last web programming experience (if you could call it that) was with html in the mid-1990s. So I posted a bunch of questions in the forums and tried to get a functional and hopefully somewhat attractive website up and running ASAP so the students would have an outlet for their writing. Even though I know it's far from perfect (esp. this first semester), I'd like your thoughts on The Insider. It's based on the Andreas01 theme.

A few questions for those of you kind enough to help me as I try to learn CSS and other web-management tricks:

1. Which file should I edit to change the font size of the slogan ("UPG's student-run newspaper since 1989") and make it bold with the 'strong' tag?

2. What would I edit to change the style (I'd like the strong gray effect that I'm going for in the slogan mentioned above) of the date block that I have at the top right of the right column?

3. In the left column, I would like to break the "Viewed Best" block outside of the bluish box. How do I do this?

4. I don't expect a quick answer to this one, but if anyone has advice, it'd be much appreciated: Since we have the publication date posted atop the right column, we don't need the teasers on the front page to include the date.
