Hey guys, I run collegehoops.net (formerly collegehoopsnet.com), a popular college basketball site. we get about 12,000 unique visitors per day this time of year, up to 30K per day as the ncaa tournament approaches, so its decently sized. We began using drupal a few months back, though the frontpage of the site is still a static html page. Here's what a sample story on the site looks like:
I am trying to build websites for development aid purposes. The best-information.eu site is right now being filled by Nepalese people and they earn money through the advertisements.
The development aid work has stolen my hart. Drupal also :)
I stumbled upon Drupal end 2005 and am still very enthousiastic.
I allready have filled a couple of questions throughout the year and am treaded greatly by drupallers. Thank you a lot for all your support!! I try answer questions of newbies myself also in my spare time.
For system references. I am right now using Drupal 4.7.6. with the great category module.
My goal is (with some volunteer-partners) to make the world a better place through the internet.
I would like to let people in development countries make stories and let them be paid through advertisements. As simple as that! Make them entrepreneurs of their own.
We're pulling all our household websites into Drupal, one by one. First in were EuropeanCuisines.com and The-Big-Meow.com. Now it's the turn of probably the biggest and most complex of our online presences, YoungWizards.com -- the first of our sites to run under Drupal 5.1.
I have been testing and developing theses sites for more than 3 months and I feel confident to let other Drupalers review and/or comment on these sites.
A little info - I have built three sites (Multisite w/ 4.7) that are used to promote SW Colorado and allow people to make reservations, book activities (skiing, train rides, rafting) and packaging etc. The sites also give information about the area and local events. These three sites share many nodes as there are shared resources between the different brands.
Hello everyone, we would like to introduce you to our brand spankin' new site. Before we break the suspence and give you a link, we need to tell you a bit about our site. Our site is dedicated to community and commerce. We strive to provide people with great quality ready made eCommerce solutions that are built using the Drupal CMS. We currently only have one eCommerce platform available (called the Teleplex eCommerce platform) but that is going to change soon. Hopefully, in the next few weeks we will be rolling out some new features at our site including free resume and contracting areas as well as a means for you (developers) to post your own eCommerce packages on our site and sell them (note that you will be able to use our platform as a starting point to make your own if you wish). The idea is to eventually offer hundreds or perhaps thousands of community developed ready made eCommerce solutions to the masses! (yeah the taxonomy will need an update at that point)
Well, you will get more info at the site so I guess i'll give you the link: http://makefunds.com
We would enjoy hearing what you have to say about the site. Please register at our site and post some comments, blogs, polls, etc... You can build up points that way.
I have just uploaded my new site http://developersvoice.com using drupal 5.1.
