Hi folks,

Saving the Sierra nominated for a Dottie

I'm not too familiar with The Dotties, an awards show for websites in Northern California, but a Drupal site I work on, Saving the Sierra, has been nominated for one. The people I work with on the site assure me it's a big deal, on a regional level.

So jazzed by Drupal - Just Had to Try it Out!

Having been introduced to Drupal a week or so ago, I got so jazzed by how great it is, I just had to try it out. I've put together a site called:

http://www.IdeaSplicing.com

The basic idea is for people with ideas to come together to splice and build on them together then to use Drupal tools to make them happen. The key thing is no one's in charge, no right or wrong ways of using the site...just giving people free reign to do whatever they want.
