We recently switched our blog from Word press to Drupal.
The site is about daily news for Bloggers and related tools.
Main focus was to get the site at least a little bit to look like (themeing) like it was in its Word press version.
Secondary was the task to get the sites content into context (referring nodes)
which means that posts can be referenced to each other. This has been done with CCK module and own development.
I'm still playing with this one. Not quite settled yet on what the interaction model should be. I know very little about the house sitting community or how it works online, but it resembles "dating", I think. People are looking for other people who can fill a need that involves trust. There are some sites out there where the role of the site operator is very large... they get involved in making all sorts of accreditations, validations and assurances between the parties. Kinda like True.com, with all that background-checking stuff. That doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun to me.
Hello all, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to review and comment on our latest eCommerce platform available at http://makefunds.com. It is called "FreeCom eCommerce". If you would, we would appreciate it if you could compare it to our first eCommerce platform and let us know which one you think is best and why.
Can someone kindly supply me with a 'hotlist' of Drupal based business websites who are successfully running a User Gnerated Content driven web presence?
