I'm trying out a new community site for paramedics, emts, doctors, nurses, etc. It's still under development and I usually on have time when I'm at work in between calls. It's not exactly how I'd like it yet, but the overall concept is there.
Eventually I'd like to let users add:
Video -- done, but mp4 video size is 1x 6 or so. Will have to fix.
Blog Posts -- done, still needs to be styled
Images -- done with slideshows, see below
events
groups -- done, very important to the site
Stationery Style is a design inspiration gallery devoted to print and visual identity. Although it is a small site, it helps to show that Drupal can be simple and elegant in its presentation.
This is actually my first site showcase here in drupal.org. I just finished developing this site the past month and a half collaborating with the president's wife on their needs. I've used more then several modules to accomodate their needs and when I do get a chance I'll post a list. It's pretty much minimalistic. It's all CSS and like I said it took awhile to finish. I want to know if there's any problems that you guys see and any comments are welcome. It's the official site for a Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy in Brooklyn that my brother used to work for.
A year ago as a marketing assistant of a medium sized company I really needed to find out the advertising possibilities that existed for my product. The only directory I could find was subscription only and cost an arm and a leg. I then saw a gap in the market for a free to access media directory. I turned to my Brother in Law who taught himself Drupal and made my idea come true. I think he has done an excellent job. I am sure he will eventually see this post so please let us know your comments and suggestions.
