Drupal Frackin Rocks!

I looked at the "big" open-source CMS's out there and chose Drupal for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Template Support
  • Rich, active community
  • Easy module integration / enhancement
  • Ease of installation
  • PHP / MySQL support / architecture
  • Lots of available enhancements and customizations
  • IBM seems to use it!

Let me tell you, I am not disappointed (except maybe a bit in the documentation).

Alumni web site

the website http://www.cumt.ca is official web site of CUMT Alumni Association in Canada. At very beginning this site was built with publisher, after few years moved to wordpress and upgraded to drupal recently.

Every thing is very good, but I need one more function which I could send email to all registered users, further more If there is module function like yahoo/msn/google group, then I don't need rely on yahoo group for email list any more.

NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) website powered by Drupal

Didn't see anyone mention this yet... I just noticed that the latest 2008 version of the NAMM Show website is powered by Drupal:
http://www.thenammshow.com

The NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) is the largest music products trade show in the United States, held on a yearly basis in Anaheim, California close to Disneyland (similar to Musikmesse in Europe).

Go Drupal! :)

National Film Board of Canada uses Drupal for two web sites

Meïdia Studio in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada relaunched 2 platforms created using Drupal as a content management system: CITIZENShift and its sister site in french, Parole Citoyenne, were launched in beta in December 2007.

CITIZENShift and Parole Citoyenne are interactive platforms where people can explore social issues through films, photography, articles, blogs and podcasts. Focusing on a new theme every month, these are the spaces for everyone to engage with other activists and creative people to share media content.

Meïdia Studio's mission is to create collaborative webspaces for people to engage, share and publish in creative ways.

Meïdia Studio was responsible for creating the concept along with CITIZENShift and Parole Citoyenne's team, graphic design, theme development, development and integration of the backend, testing and quality assurance of both platforms.

Illustrated Photography

Hello All,

I have recently launced a new website aimed at photographers. It is a magazine/learning resource.

Have a look and let me know what you think:

http://www.illustratedphotography.net

http://www.illustratedphotography.net/edblog

There are still some issues with the gallery integration (I am not quite brave enough to allow users to start their own albums etc)
