Hello everyone. I was thinking about setting up a Drupal site in brochure style (using Book layout) to serve as a marketing tool for potential web design customers. My plan is to explain Drupal in simple terms for an end user. I'll focus on things like Primary Links, Themes, Content Sensitive Blocks, Nodes, CCK Fields, Views, and WYSIWYG. I'll post a link once I get something together, but I wanted to see if anyone has already set something like this up.
OhBoyObama.com site launched using Drupal and Drigg for grass roots idea voting system. Using Drupal 5.7 along with the current release of Drigg we created a social site for followers of Barack Obama to contribute their ideas for the Obama campaign and to vote on the ideas of other Obama supporters. We also use the Invite module to allow fans to spread the word by inviting their friends to join them.
I hope the Drupal community enjoys the site. We could not have done it without Drupal and Drigg.
Metallica are going to release a new album in september.
They opened the site www.missionmetallica.com to let fans hear some excerpt before the release. The first page seems a static HTML with a flash animation, but if you do the registration and enter in the "real" site you find that it's based on Drupal.
Hello out in Drupal land, thanks for checking us out! MTNOPS is a Drupal based site that is online now, with the full launch coming in 3 months or so. Right now we have an innovative display of news, video and links that allow users to Nod a post up or down, leave comments and view the content based on Date, Nods or Videos. This functionality was built using CCK, views and themes.
