Double Login Issue 4.7.2

Did anyone get the double login problem fixed in 4.7.2? There seems to be a multitude of solutions for this issue, but none of them works. They all work the first time, but once you logout, close browser and start again, the problems are still there.

What is the best solutions for this. Of course, disabling cache always works, but that wouldn't be the best solution!

Is this problem there in 4.7.3? I can't belive I can be the only one with this issue!

Thanks for any inputs on this.

aggregator.module enhancement project

I would like to start a group/discussion about enhancing and fixing the core aggregator.module. We have been using the module for some time, and find that anything beyond the simplest aggregation is out of the question.

Posts like these highlight the fact that some control is needed over the way URL's are handled. People are asking for pop-ups (perhaps not the best answer), but the real issue is that giving over URL control to another site "breaks" the user experience, as some of these posts describe:

Also, the aggregator module needs to be "smarter" about dealing with the wide variety of feeds out there. For example, problems mentioned in posts like "Google News feeds causing duplicate aggregator entries" are still a problem, and fixing these requires a more holistic understanding of the URLs themselves, and how to identify truly "unique" entries from those which appear unique because of aggregator URL tracking code. Essentially, creating "canonical" post identifications rather than trusting the aggregation source directly.

New administration pages

I am really in for the re-arranged administration pages in latest CVS, though I find some menu item titles, well, lengthy, which makes them appear messy, if you will. For example, even in the default bluemarine theme, the item 'administration theme' gets wrapped and is spanned over two lines.

What would you think about renaming some of them? For example:

Suggestion: Filtered HTML Allowed HTML tags

Hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Every installation I do I always add <h1><h2><h3><h4><p><img> to the 'Filtered HTML' input format Allowed HTML tags on /admin/filters/1/configure (Drupal 4.7)

These seem like pretty safe tags to me that should be in the default.

Anyone else agree?

Problem at specific url of nonexistent node

Hello,
I'm having trouble at specific url of nonexistent node. If I try to visit url as anonymous e.g. "...?q=node/111/edit", where nid doesn't exist yet, the page displays indstead of 404 error page a part of administration interface: Empty textfield for title and button Preview.
The same problem when node is not set for public by organic group.
It looks like a common issue. I've tested it on other drupal 4.6.x websites with the same effect. Haven't seen any other posts similar to this. Is there any solution?
Thanks!
Gaston
