Post installation

I have just upgraded to 4.4rc. I have noticed that the path expression <(/|index\.php)$> which is meant to display the block only on the front page works with xtemplate (pushbutton) but not with chameleon. With chameleon the block does not show up at all. Any suggestions as to how this might be fixed? Thanks.

no-- not using tax to get a hot date, but...

I'm looking for a way to create a taxonomy of yearly dates (ie. 30 BC, 1264, 1888, 1986, etc.) to be linked whenever a date is used in a post (I'm writing a good deal historical material). So 1986 would link to a page that contained all the relevant events of that year, etc.

But I have a couple concerns with doing this (I'm not well versed in Drupal's feature set):

New comments are not showing on the site in the moderation queue.

specifically administer --> comments -> overview, then click on "comment approval queue" there appears only a list of existing approved comments, no new ones to approve. The only way I can seem to get them to show is by going directly into the "comments" table in the database (for which I am usung mysqlcc) and change "status" from "1" to "0" for the comment.

WTF am i doing wrong?

PS comments I post from my account get shown automatically, presumably as i am the admin.

How do I remove "Comment Viewing Options" in the forum? On my site the options "threaded list - expanded Date - newest first appears when you view a topic someone posted, but I would rather just have a nice clean list of replies, like here on drupal.org. There must be a switch? ...

Hi all

I am just checking out Drupal and have a problem showing content. I entered a few stories but on the frontpage only the headers are showing and not the content of the story (you may have a look at http://test2.lenneffer.com to see what I mean). And before someone asks: Yes I entered text in the body section and not only the headline :P ) The content doesnt show in the Preview either.

I searched for an answer to this but found nothing. As administrator, can I move comments to a different forum topic once they're posted? How?
