Post installation

I have Drupal with the banner module and the marvin theme running. I would like to add an advertisement banner into a block. How do I do that? I tried it with adding a new block and putting the banner_display(1) into the body part of the block. But it does not work. Any ideas?

Is it possible to filter content in blocks? Say: [imаge:000]. Or any other.
Should I use php block with some hook? Can You give an example please.

I'm setting up my site now, using a "old" version of Drupal, i.e.,
4.3.2. When the 4.4.0 release appeared I had already all the themeing done.

The issue that I have now, is about DA. It seems that DA
with an Yahoo ID doesn't work. Drupal signals an error
when trying to connect to the Yahoo DB to check the ID/pass.

I gather, from my own registration process at drupal.org
that the Yahoo ID DA feature is gone, since you only offer DA
for sites other than Yahoo groups.

i have been working with a 4.4 install on my host for several weeks now. no problems.

i just moved it to a client's host (fatcow.com). after the client added several nodes (of what I cannot be sure) the index page would not load. i looked at the tables. the node and sessions tables were 'in use.' i dropped them and restored them from my backup and now everything works fine, minus the lost client content.

any idea what the heck the client did to cause this error or how to avoid it in the future?

Hi,

When I am trying to change my theme, I get the following error: "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare xtemplate_settings() (previously declared in .../themes/xtemplate/xtemplate.theme:15) in .../themes/gworks/xtemplate.theme on line 11"

What did I do wrong? How can I fix that or at least (manually) change the theme?
