Post installation

Hi everybody,
on http://www.immermusik.de i use drupal, which is great.
I use gnome-blog or blogtk for adding new blog entries. This works, the blogs appear in my blogs ont he page, but not on the front page of my drupal site.
how can i do this?

I was in the process of (unsuccessfully) trying to switch on clean url's, when my pc crashed.

Result: I seem to be locked out from logging in at "site architect" level (or any other) in order to switch off clean url's.

Moreover, most of the content on the site is unavailable for the reason that my attempt to switch on clean url's didn't work. The only links that do work are those I coded in the primary links bar using ?q=faq etc.

Is there a way to switch off clean url's from outside of the admin interface?

Bit of a vague question but is it straightforward/doable to build a Property system via Drupal?

Specifically, to allow properties (e.g houses, flats) to be added with photos, postcodes, number of bedrooms, prices and then build a search tool to allow searches to be made on postcode, number of bedrooms and price?

If so, is there any documentation out there I should be looking through to help with implementing this?

I woke up this morning to find my site, http://www.robshouse.net, broken. The base URL is not functioning correctly. All links that are dependent on this variable, including the path to the .css files, are broken. There have been no recent posts since my last post, and the site worked fine at that time. I'm pretty baffled. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I apologise if this question has been asked already, but I haven't had any luck in trying to find it through searches. I was wondering if anyone knows why the "remember me" checkbox is gone; the one that keeps the user logged in for more than just one session.

Having to re-login to drupal every time I visit my own site is a little inconvinient. Is there any way to turn this feature back on?
