Post installation

Hi,

When configuring my site, is there a way to tell blocks to appear on all pages except the ones created when viewing the actual nodes - e.g. drupal/node/view/..?

Thus my gallery image pages (full size image pages not thumbs etc) and blog view pages would be block free.

i was experimenting with a php block & saved it . to my horror i get this error message i can't disable the block:

Unable to reload the main website database at this time.

I have an older version of drupal. It came with my webhosting under Fantastico.. what version I'm not sure.

I don't have the dynamic menu creator I see talked of in later versions though the the capability to have navigation links is definitly part of the drupal I have.
Problem: I have turned "navigation links" on in the modules section and have choosen to have my pages as links in the Nav bar yet I have no links showing up in the nav bar. I have tried several different things with no luck.

Can anyone help??? Ask ask nicely, please.

I'm having a devil of a time here. The "search" module appears to work perfectly for my Firefox users, but not for my IE users. I think it might have something to do with the fact that my blog's path is configured as http://www.pennywit.com/drupal/, which has led to double forward slashes in all the paths that Drupal sets up. Is there some way to either fix the search module or fix the paths? Thanks.

I am trying to show certain blocks for certain users only. Can this be done in drual. I am running the latest version available in cvs

For example I want to show "whos online" only for the admin. So in the block for "whos online", I put for the path. This works but if a visitor (unregistered user) types www.mysite.com/admin the "whos online" block is becoming visible. How do I fix this

Also what should I type in the path to show a block only for users who are logged in

I'm not able to create the same access rules in both email & name access rules? Is this a bug? For example, if I want to restrict %dumb% I can only added to one of them not both.
