Post installation

I've been playing with Drupal and like it so far. Now I am installing modules and playing with them.

I've come across an error that I don't know how to resolve. It is hard error meaning it will not continue after the error. I have installed MarkSmarty and Textile and they both use SmartyPants. I am getting an error when i configure or try to go to modules

Installed Image module on my 4.5 installation. Configured the Mysql server, and IIS to give full permissions to folders and apps. Tried placing convert.exe for imagemagic and/or jhead in differnent paths and always get something like:

i have installed drupal at the of my webspace

the problem is, when i type for example www.mydomain.com/directory2, i don't get the contents of that directory, but instead a 'Page not found' message within my drupal installation

is there anyway to change this??

Hi,

Just installed Drupal, got it working right away. Modded a theme to my likings... And I must say, I am impressed.

Is still have a question though: How can I show images in a blog posting?

What are they??????????????????????

They show up in administration and for regular users. What are they there for?????????? Can they be made to GO AWAY???????????????????

I have used the search feature here and haven't found real answers just people with same problems as me.

The primary and sencondary links when clicked in administration takes me to a really cryptic looking place and I am afraid to change anything. When clicked by regurlar user it becomes a 404 page not found thing.

help just a little help please.

How do you get content to show up in the "menu" rather than in the front page. My choice seems to be home page or nothing. That can't be right. Right now the only thing that is on the left hand menu is:
My Account
Log Out

I have set up my administrator account and to see what a regular use will see, I have set up another account. that where i see 2 items in my menu on the left.
