Post installation

This seems silly, but it has gotten the better of me.

I have upgraded to 4.5 and have been upgrading modules as I go. I upgraded the Images module and I seem to have a problem with permissions. I have set all the permissions but when a users other than user 1 tries to look at the image galleries they get the access denied page.

I have checked and rechecked the permissions, users should be able to see the image galleries, but they can't.

Am I missing something obvious here?

As the title suggests, if a member creates an account using a .info email address, they do not receive an email with their login details??

I'm new to drupal. I've just finished my installation and everything seems ok except this problem with the image module;

I've tried to add images via fast directory upload. Everything seems fine, I can see the thumbnails in the gallery but when I tried to click on one of the images nothing happens in firefox, and I got a dns error on IE...

I also could not upload individual images using "create content --> image", when I click on upload or preview buttons I got the same response...

AFAIKT taxonomy/page/or/1,2 has been replaced by taxonomy/term/1+2
and taxonomy/page/and/1,2 has been replaced by taxonomy/term/1,2

Is this correct?
