I've checked the handbook, the forum, and the web, but can't quite find the answer. Still new to Drupal. I 've tried starting a collaborative book page - and expected an edit function somewhere on the page so others could edit content as opposed to comment on it, but can't seem to figure out how to do that. I've also installed the Wiki module. What am i missing here? Apologies if this is all so old.
When posting to a forum I had just created, the number of newmessages is listed as -1 in the forum, and the post count remains at 0 with no posts visible. The post is displayed in the left column as a recent post when I enable that option so I can read it via that link.
Does anyone know the cause of this, or if it is a known issue? I was unable to find any reference to it on the forums.
I'm very new to Drupal, been playing with it for less than 24 hours and managed to get it to do most of what I need it to just by using the admin interface. I've enabled the Profile module so I can specify custom fields.
What I would like to do is put a link in the left column so users can obtain a list of other users, and search both users and user attributes. I also need to be able to search by specific profile values (specified using checkboxes).
My website originated as a static site. A fair bit of content was created, during it time, and then I installed Drupal 4.5 on /.
If I put a link in my Drupal website that points to a page in the static site, the above error is returned. Is there no way to link back to the old website so that the historical stuff can be viewed by visitors?
I dont understand what I have to do to make the old site still accessible. Any pointers would be welcome! Thanks for your time,
