Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

no feed from blog

I have set up a blog on our site -- that will be the only one, being posted by user id #3. I made an alias to it, using the user name of the blogger as if a subdirectory: peacehouseok.org/batch (pointing to blog/3). That works just fine. But the xml link for the feed on that page does not. I've tried to find the feed using a variety of addresses, but it doesn't seem to exist. The feed on the front page works fine. Is there something I can do to make it work for just the single blog?

Create a specific page with a menu item

I'm looking for a module which will allow me to post a specific permanent article which will have it's own menu item link generated. For example, if I created a FAQ, how would I get that page to have it's own "FAQ" menu item?

The description for a "page" looks like it would fit this criteria but I can't get "pages" to get a menu item.

experience with Language block

i have tried using language as a block. When i turn the block to french, the User login is changed turned to french. But when i login, i am getting menus in english and even the create content is in english.

Selecting the french in the block again, the nodes in the create content is translated to french. But still the menu is in english.

I checked with terminus1525.ca and found that the language selection is given in the homepage and the language is based on the selection the user makes in the homepage.

Willing to trade

I am looking for a good how to on how to build a similar website as drupal. I understand the theme is proprietary. What I am looking for is a good documentation on how the website is designed:

ie: How to make the menu at the top [primary links, path...]
ie: How does drupal.org uses the books, the structure..., the forums...

What are the settings for MySQL to get the throughput... Anything special in conf.php, .htaccess...

Dark themes?

Are there any dark themes out there e.g. with a black background and light writing?
