we have have been experimenting with drupal for about a month on a test site and hope to migrate soon (within 2 months). the main issue holding us back is events. we have an existing events database that we like here:
we will be expanding this very soon to have a separate venues/businesses db with correct address listings so we can integrate a maps api. user will have to choose a venue or add a new venue before posting an event.
I have an account with webspacelive.com and they offer fantastico. I installed drupal a couple of days ago and when I tried to install a template from, it gives me an error 'page not found'? I don't know why the template is not showing up? Can anyone help me? Thanks!
This is not precisely a Drupal question, but if anyone has the answer it would be much appreciated.
I want to apply a patch provided for 'emailpage.module'. The patch is 'emailpage-note_patch'. I know there is a patch command in Unix that makes this process automatic. The problem is I can find no similar patch command in Windows cmd.exe.
Does anybody know how or where I can get a patch routine that will automatically apply a patch in Windows 2000?
The answer is probably obvous to some one, but that someone is not me. Much obliged for any advice you have
I'm having some problem making the menu module work in the way I would expect it to work.
Basically the problem is that the menu module turns the url alias into its real path and then the url writer
turns it back into its original alias, or the first one.
I'm using the goofy theme right now and the mission statement doesn't show. Is there anyway to get it to display with the node view / front page only? I don't want it to display at the top of every page like in the Slurpee theme.
