Post installation

Can I have text formatting (bold, italic, etc.) in the title of my story? It appears that such tags entered in the title field of the story have no effect and appear as typed. Is it possible to apply formatting to titles in any way?

i've install drupal 4.6.0 two month ago, just use for blog. i want to change the filename index.php to index2.php, and result is at sixes and sevens.
i search in the forum, it's bloom and complex , and somebody give me a hint? thank you.i'm forced to learn english, but never regard it's a pleasure.

How do I upgrade from event.module to event-cvs.module?
I'm using Drupal 4.6.3. I want to upgrade because I need the eventrepeat.module, but after installing event-cvs the menu administer->settings->event disappeared. It only shows 'Array' and the two 'Save configuration' and 'Reset to defaults' buttons without any error message.

The eventrepeat.module README says: 'Needs latest CVS event.module to work properly, also a recent HEAD version of drupal is recommended, but it may work fine on 4.6.x.'

Did somebody get it to work?

It appears that by default under Debian session.gc_probabiliy is set to 0 which, if I am understanding things correctly, means that sessions will never be expired by PHP itself. Debian, according to notes in /usr/share/doc/php4-common, relies on a cron job to clear out the session directory. Since Drupal keeps sessions in a database they stay around forever.

I have new drupal.

I've been wanting for some time to display PDF documents within a Drupal web site, without having to "download" them, or open them in a separate window. I've searched around the forums, and have found several people asking the same question but no replies.
